Well guys this would come across as a bit of an unusual post from myself, but it’s some what needed.

It’s good every now and then to see actors in their semi-raw form, semi-unscripted and live, it pretty much gives us a chance to see them in a way which they can’t fully control. The main issue i had with the globes which i didn’t think i would was the fact Ricky Gervais was flat.

I had huge expectations that he’d blow it all away again, but this time round he kept it pretty low brow and it would appear he was pretty restricted although he tried to appear un tethered.

One week to go until launch for our new Spire / Siri server. I’m currently searching for cydia application packaging gurus to help me try a repo type of roll-out for the configuration part of the whole proxy, it’ll help the noobiest of noobs and laziest of lazy.

So after going through countless amounts of comments and hate comments from people call me a faker and all that jazz.

I’ve gone ahead and created a public server, I’ve set up the server and it’s awaiting the dns-setup and the siri scripts to be dragged off of my github. Keep in mind unlike my current server this one will be 100% public and will be filled with randoms. I’ll have a spam limiter put on it so you’ll be only able to make a various amount of requests per every minute, this will dramatically increase the speed of everyone’s queries etc.

The site is up so bookmark it, and no the server isn’t up and online just yet so don’t even try to connect as the certificates have not been generated, that and there is currently no server running on that box. So without further text i present to you.

UPDATE: Added 20 people randomly towards the server, will do another sweep tomorrow. 

Ok, so I’ve setup the new server, the DNS is now resolving.. succesfully got it spoofing.. Certs are now setup with a cron job to automatically refresh every 24 hours with the latest AUTH keys. I’ve sent an email to 40 of my commentors with the new domain / ports and other information.

Each user has been requested after they’ve tested the service to upload a YouTube video reviewing the proxy.

Hopefully we get some good feedback and if possible i’ll keep this running for free.

Most of you have been anxiously looking around for an untethered jailbreak for the A5 devices as of recent. There are many reasons as to why this has not come out yet. One of the most asked questions are in regards to Musclenerd and pod2g already having jailbroken A5 devices.

Well this is due to the fact that they’ve both utilized an exploit and method of jailbreaking tethered using a developer account as quoted on one of pod2g‘s latest blog posts.

The exploit I used to inject the untethering files to the 4S relies on having a developer account, and can’t be released publicly.
It’s the same reason why @MuscleNerd has an iPad 2 tethered jailbreak but couldn’t distribute it.

So, we need to find a distributable exploit to remount the system partition read/write and to set Corona files at the correct places.

The main thing we are waiting on is the ability to be able to perform this tethered/untethered jailbreak and distribute the exploit without the need to actually use a developer account.

Keep you eyes out guys and follow pod2g as of this time he appears to be the only person left on the development scene that’s actively working on getting jail broken devices to the scene.
