I’ve got the whole world in my hands!

Well, life and all the bad crap it’s been throwing at me has finally thrown in the towel and is now working in my favour!

Today i was accepted after my third interview for my dream job, this job is a career shaker and I’ll be working in it until i get old and gray and retire. I’ve got all the bells and whistles, laptops, phones, dental, medical insurance, car insurance, Qantas Business class flights and that’s only giving out what I’m allowed to say.  I’m not rubbing this in by saying it out loud, I’m saying it out loud because it’s about damn fucking time i get something worth something.

Anyway, I’ve also got my new pad setup on the beach which is about 25 minutes from my new job and about 10 minutes away from one of the largest shopping centres the great south east has to offer. Also I’m living with girls for once, which are polite, well mannered and know how to keep a house clean and also know how to have fun, some of my last roomies were complete dicks.

The new place has a gym, pool and laundry facilities, other than everything i’ve said above i think that’s about it. I’m off to go watch The Broncos vs The Titans, sure The Titans have had a rough run lately, but they are now my team again, so… GO TITANS!

great news for you! i remember my first big break like this. be smart and don’t ever think ‘this is it’ and ‘i don’t have to really do anything anymore, i’m here.’ while you’re in this stage of your life, keep gunning for the next job and the next one, and don’t be afraid to take calculated chances in order to keep advancing. after 25 years competing in the publishing world, there was nothing like quitting and taking my real art seriously, but that’s another great feeling for another part of your life,

from your pic, you look like you’d be any company’s top choice. a tip: i worked in fashion publishing in new york for several years—you’ve got to tie your ties a bit neater, lol. j/k. congrats big time! it was really nice to read a very positive post tonight from someone.
